The WAW-C Computer-Controlled Hydraulic Servo Universal Testing Machine has been primarily designed to handle compression, flexure/bending, tension and shearing for specimens. It is ideal for use in testing these properties for both metal and non-metal materials, including cement, concrete, steel, rebar, steel bar, iron, rod and more. It is specifically designed for utilization with research, student training, production and industrial laboratory. It complies with ASTM, ISO, JIS and BS standards. This device is based on Japanese SHIMADZU technology. The device features a double working space, a tensile test at the upside of the crosshead, a worm wheel and worm shaft to drive the crosshead up and down, and a bending and compression test between the crosshead and working bench. Hydraulic pressure is used to drive the cylinder, so as to load the specimen. Hydraulic pressure comes from a hydraulic station. It is also insulated for sound, so that it emits noise at 75 dB (A) only.
