PEL® BH spherical bearings have an excellent resistance to wear and seizure due to the combination of a duplex surface treatment and special grease reservoirs. These grease reservoirs could be designed between the inner and the outer ring of the bushing and/or between the inner ring and the pin. This provides longer useful life of HEF bearing compared to standard spherical bearings. These spherical bearings are only superficially hardened, they have a good resilience which enables an excellent shock resistance MATING SHAFT: When assembly enables sliding between pin and bearing and for optimal performances of the joint, the surface roughness of pin should be inferior to Ra 0,8 μm and the hardness should be superior to 56 HRc.
