The CS130B-2-MC is a high performance, economical, and user-friendly monochromator. By integrating a Newport motion stage, scan speed is faster, wavelength accuracy is doubled, and wavelength precision is greatly increased over the original models. It utilizes larger gratings for improved the optical throughput and reduced spillover. A robust mechanical design and optical mounting configuration has increased rigidity and reproducibility. This model includes both USB and RS232 communication ports. The instrument is fully calibrated with the 250 and 500 nm blaze wavelengths holographic gratings, and includes a built-in shutter. The input and output slits are pre-configured with micrometer driven slits. It is designed to be compatible with the Oriel® Filter Wheel model USFW-100 and the APEX2 Illuminator.
