The 5721-C-H Aspheric Lens is made with D-ZLaF52La. It is 4.0 mm diameter with 60x magnification and a focal length of 2.8 mm. This aspheric lens has a housing length of 11.8 mm with 3.6 mm clear aperture and a working distance of 1.6 mm. It is AR coated for the wavelength range of 1050 to 1600 nm. This compact glass plano-convex aspheric lens is a convenient, high-quality alternative to microscope objectives. It is especially handy for low f-number applications like coupling light into and out of optical fibers or collimating diode lasers since the aspheric surface minimizes the aberrations. A model 5709 RMS threaded adapter is required for use as a microscope objective. A model 5708 optical mount adapter allows these objectives to be mounted in a 1 inch diameter optical mount.
