This computer controlled benchtop equipment can detect small amounts of alpha, beta and gamma radioactivity. Reliable results are produced by this analyzer even for quenched samples. Various features are fitted in Tri-Carb Liquid Scintillation Counters for utmost productivity. A built-in electrostatic controller minimizes the effects of static electricity. The automatic data reduction feature includes averaging of repeat sample counts, percent Coefficient of Variation (CV), low count rejection, and result normalization. User-defined equations can also be programmed into the Packard system. Outputs can be formatted for standard spreadsheet-type calculations depending on user preference.
