Carrying conventional rapid centrifuge rotors with speeds of up to 18,000 rpm producing 47,900xg, the J2-HC runs the largest swinging bucket rotor. Equipped with color-coded modular adapters, the Beckman J2-HC centrifuge can accommodate virtually every tube size from 1.5 mL to 100 mL, with diameters ranging from 10-mm to 44-mm. The bottle sleeves also support a variety of bottles from 230 mL to 750 mL with round, flat or conical bottoms, while its microplate carriers are interchangeable with the buckets of JS-4.3, letting you spin four six-well tissue culture plates or up to eight double stacked 96-well plates per run. This Beckman centrifuge model is designed for added laboratory safety. The centrifuge provides automatic shutdown should overtemperature condition is reached.
