Microtem single balanced mechanical seal is manufactured in accordance to DIN 24960 standard. It is independent of the direction of rotation and it has a single leaf spring. The material options and leaf spring design make this unit very versatile both in heavy duty machines and high viscous liquid environments. The balancing ensures it can easily survive high pressures. The operational limits are D= 20 160mm P= 25 BAR T= -50 a +250°C S= 20m/s. The unit is made up of stationary ring, stationary ring elastomer stationary ring, rotary ring, rotary ring, rotary ring elastomer, body and blocking axis screw. There are different models available. Standard contact surfaces material include tungstene carbide, silicon carbide SiC, carbographite impregnated with antimony or resin, and stainless steel 304/316.
