Knittel, German-made microscope cover slips, No.1 thickness (0.13 — 0.17mm) are made of colourless borosilicate glass of hydrolytic class 1 (ISO 8255/1). Precision cutting without cords and blisters. Special treated surface to avoid sticking and for superior and faster separation of the slips. These coverslips are ideal for Shandon and Medite Cover-Slippers, but will suit other instruments too, and they may be used as bulk packs for manual coverslipping. Packed by 100 pieces per plastic box, and by packs of 1000. Very fine glass particles are used to powder the surfaces of stacked cover slips to prevent sticking.
