Pleated filter PFE-PWF for external filter system PFE-MP (set of 2) The PFE-PWF external pre-filter cartridge is installed upstream of the PETRO-BARRIER PUMP® filtration system in the PFE-MP block. It consists of a pleated polyester filter. Its function is to purify rainwater of fine particles that could clog the PETRO-BARRIER® anti-hydrocarbons filtration cartridge. The PFE-PWF pre-filter must be changed regurlaly to allow optimal drainage of the wastewater as soon as it is satured with sludge and particles. To ensure that the PETRO-BARRIER® filter maintains a sufficient flow rate, the external filter system must be kept as clean as possible. If there are too many impurities in the drainage water, the PFE-PWF pleated filter must be replaced by the PFE-MP. Sold in sets of 2.
