The OWS is an orbital sander end effector developed for industrial use. Thanks to its simple design and the brushless motor, it guarantees reliability with minimum maintenance. The compact servomotor runs at 400-480Vac 3-ph and produce 4,8 Nm. The orbital offset is of 5mm. Any sanding disc or backing pad up to 150mm diameter (or 6”) can be used on the OWS, thanks to the standard 5/16» attachment. Same as the other Suhner end effectors, this orbital sander has a blank mounting plate that can be adapted to any robot flange and it runs with the standard motor controller from Suhner, controlled through digital I/Os.
