The rugged Fluke 117 multimeter has the quality you’ve come to expect from Fluke and is a must-have for any electrician. In addition to all the standard measurement features, this multimeter also has a VoltAlert technology that allows contactless voltage detection and a low impedance mode that makes sure that no ghost voltages get measured. Furthermore, the multimeter has a min, max, and average hold function which makes analyzing signal fluctuations easy.
This multimeter has a large backlit 6000 counts display on which the values, even in dark environments, can easily be read. In addition, the values on the screen are updated every 4 seconds and the meter has a 33 segment bar graph. The meter is powered by a 9-volt battery and has a working time of ~400 hours (without backlight).
