The Mitutoyo MDC-Lite Digimatic digital micrometer»s ratchet thimble mechanism provides a constant measuring force on the spindle to ensure accurate, repeatable measurements. The combination of the ratchet thimble and speeder enables a rapid spindle feed when measuring a wide range of different dimensions, or easier one-handed measurements.

The MDC-Lite has no spindle clamp or data output function
Provided only with a zero-set key and in/mm (inch/metric models only)
Measurement results are displayed in inches and metric on an LCD display
Carbide-tipped measuring tips resist wear for better accuracy over time
Twice as long battery life than previous models improves throughput and efficiency
Unit turns off after 20 minutes of idle time, conveniently turns on with twist of the spindle
