Description

The Magnaflux EV6500 is a lightweight, hand-held dual-light LED UV lamp for use in NDT environments that utilize fluorescent penetrant testing and fluorescent magnetic particle testing.

Powerful UV Light

The unit comes with a broad-beam UV profile for both in-line and hand-held use. The EV6500 has a 7,000 W/cm2 high-intensity UV-A illumination beam with the widest coverage area available (10 inch / 25 cm diameter), which leads to decreasing inspection times through improving indication visibility.

Minimizes Time to Inspect Parts

The EV6500 eliminates the need for a flashlight as it has easy-on visible light LEDs for visible flaw location. These white light LEDs brighten the inspection area with over 150 ft-candles of concentrated visible light (16 inch / 41 cm beam) allowing you to see clearly without the need to turn on an overhead light.

Durable Solid Construction

The EV6500 has a fully sealed housing that will stand up to the elements, in addition to a fan-less cooling system. It also has a non-clouding lens for consistent inspections you can rely on.

Safer for Operators

Because the EV6500 utilizes cool LED technology, it removes the possibility of operator burns. It also eliminates hazardous mercury waste disposal leading to safer working conditions.

All EV6500s meet or exceed all current specifications for fluorescent liquid penetrant and magnetic particle testing and ship with a manufacturer’s certificate of conformance.
