The Mitutoyo LEGEX series CMMs incorporates an ultra-high accuracy scale unit with crystallized glass scales (thermal expansion coefficient of 0.01×10-6/K) and a high-resolution, high-performance reflection linear encoder providing premium positioning performance. The fixed-bridge design allows the X- and Y-axis to operate independently of each other while eliminating pitch and yaw errors. The LEGEX»s “center of gravity” drive system allows for very high speed while taking ultra-accurate measurements.
