Stable, accurate weighing is almost impossible when the item to be weighed is statically charged. Use of the AD-1683A external ionizer is the quickest, easiest way to eliminate such problematic static electricity without wasting your time and effort. The AD-1683A generates positive and negative ions from four electrode needles to immediately (in 1 to 1.5 sec) neutralize static charges while maintaining the ambient ion balance. Employing the DC method, it requires no fan to deliver ions, which enables static removal without blowing away even extremely fine powders and causing any risk of contamination. An embedded IR sensor allows touchless ON/OFF control, making static removal more efficient and stress-free. The device automatically turns off the ion discharge (either in 3 sec or 10 sec) when Timer mode is selected. Each ion discharge is accompanied by an LED lamp lighting up and a buzzer sounding (the buzzer can be turned off if preferred). An external IR switch is available (optional) for users who want the ionizer ON/OFF switch closer to hand.
