The Mitutoyo HV-110/HV-120 Type B/D models feature a high-resolution 3 mega-pixel camera that produces crisp images that are automatically measured in less than three seconds. The Mitutoyo AVPAK is the dedicated image analysis software which offers automated indentation reading with excellent automatic edge detection capability, thus eliminating reading variations and visual errors.
- Type B hardness testers have computer controls, providing more accurate and repeatable measurements
- Type D hardness testers have a motorized X-Y stage with up to 100mm x 100mm travel for large samples
- Motorized focusing platform on Type D models provide a complete walk away system
- Various software functions such as automatic light intensity, simple to use report generator and programming wizards make tedious and repetitive testing requirements more accurate than manual testing and eliminates common operator errors
