Made from polypropylene, envelope shaped, with an inner frame and sloped edges. These boxes are the safest means of mailing or storing fragile samples.The cocoon box, and a flat embedding mould in combination, can be used to cure resin within an oven at up to 70C. Acrylics (except for LR White which is not compatible with the cocoon box) should be covered with some clear shrink-wrap material. This is sufficient to exclude most oxygen and prevent that sticky surface layer.
