Tube features: the extruded, low porosity TPE tube reduces permeation problems. Highly neutral in taste and odor, it preserves the organoleptic properties of the medium. Good chemical resistance to acids and alkaline solutions and good impermeability. Versatile rubber resistant also to alcools with max. 50% concentration. Much more impermeable than silicone elastomers. Superior working life on peristaltic pumps when compared with similar tubings of the competition (average working life >190 hours when tested on a 3 lobes pump with 600 turning/minute) and minimal spallation on pump heads.
