The MTM 51 series is an elastomer bellows type mechanical seal developed by Microtem. It is mainly used for general services machinery at low and medium pressure. This double directional mechanical seal is constructed with compliance to DIN 24960 directive requirements and can withstand a working temperature of -20 °C to 180 °C. Its standard contact surface is built from silicon carbide SiC, tungsten carbide, aluminum oxide, carbographite impregnated with antimony, or carbographite impregnated with resin. The elastomer is also developed from FPM/Viton, EPDM, and NBR construction. In addition, this single cylindrical spring tool is equipped with elastomer stationary ring, stationary ring, rotary ring, elastomer bellows, and spring components.
