Valco Meltons high-speed 400 Series Cold Gluing Valves have been successfully gluing a wide range of products for over 16 years. These All-Electric Valves permit precise glue patterns to diagonals or manufacturers joints at high machine speeds. Simple designs mean that there are only 3 replacement parts, all accessible from the front of the valve. There is no need to remove the valve from the press to rebuild it— Simply changeout the plunger, spring and seat. An integrated purge switch allows quick flushing in the folder. Nozzle types can be changed without the use of tools. The 400 Series Valves are ideal for applications including, folding cartons, envelopes, mailers, and other requirements in the paper converting and graphics industries. Today, the 400 Series Valve has been replaced with the higher performing 500 Series cold glue Valves.
