GMI offers both the HP Agilent 1050 DAD system and MWD system. The two HP 1050 HPLC systems carry either the 1050 Diode Array Detector (DAD) or the Multiple Wavelength Detector (MWD). The DAD is similar to the MWD, and has the same hardware except for their keyboard and firmware. Basically the MWD, the DAD operates with added spectra capabilities and is controlled by the HPLC DOS compatible data analysis software. Both HPLC modules are equipped with an optical system and electronic circuitry for acquisition and processing of absorbance data. Controlled by a user-friendly interface, the 1050 systems allow the operator to define parameters and present analytical information. The Agilent 1050 DAD and MWD systems make it possible to optimize the signal-to-noise and spectral resolution. The flow cell and slit are separate. Flow cells with different path lengths and slit assemblies with different optical slit widths are available. Other features include flow cell and slit assemblies, a deuterium lamp, a heat exchanger device, a shutter assembly, and a leak sensor system.
