It employs a frequency-controlled vacuum encased induction drive which eliminates friction and heightens performance. The Optima L-60 also promotes efficient energy consumption by generating only a third of the BTU outputs of other standard centrifuges. Equipped with a high-torque direct drive induction motor and brush-free system, the Optima L-60 guarantees excellent productivity and requires very low maintenance. Eye-balancing of sample tubes is made possible by its imbalance-tolerant drive feature. More importantly, the L-60s smooth accel/decel profiles allow gentle handling of samples.
