The L7 drive system is todays advanced version of the Beckman drive that revolutionized ultracentrifugation. The Beckman L7-75 centrifuge is equipped with a frequency-controlled direct drive that provides long-term reliability by eliminating brushes. Designed to eliminate high-speed vacuum seal, the L7-75 ultracentrifuge carries a vacuum-encased induction drive which reduces heat output to 6150 Btu/hr and noise output to less than 60dB.
