Ultra-isolation transformers Simple concepts with effective results Salicru’s NS series ultra-isolation transformers provide a high degree of galvanic isolation thanks to the incorporation of three screens as separation for the windings. The origin of electrical noise in power lines can be very diverse: machinery, industrial equipment, load interruption, storms and lightning, deficient or no earth connection, switching transients, proximity of electric motors, etc., and they can be the cause of serious problems in electrical and electronic facilities, resulting in losses due to the malfunctions themselves or the untimely cessation of activity. NS series models are the best solution against this kind of disturbance, offering a wide range of solutions, from 300 VA to 9,000 VA, always in single-phase input and output connection. This protection is against both noise in common mode –due to the transformer’s own design– and noise in normal mode –due to the incorporation of the triple electrostatic screen– which enables excellent filtering of high frequency noise.
