Product Description The Sorvall RC 3C Plus low speed, refrigerated centrifuge features large capacity, quiet, and low-heat operation with time-tested drive and refrigeration systems. Its automatic rate control system improves resolution and separation rates by providing smooth and efficient operations, while automated RCF determination enhances accuracy. Equipped with an advanced microprocessor, the RC 3C Plus offers reproducible results with its programmable operation. Ten distinct programs can be set and recalled through single-button control. The Sorvall model also incorporates the most imbalance-tolerant drive in the market. The 2.5 HP direct drive operates using the Sorvall GyroAction self-centering drive system which is imbalance-tolerant up to 50 grams. Guided by the principles of sustainability, the RC 3C Plus is integrated with a variety of advanced safety and environmental features. Like all Sorvall centrifuges, this model uses SUVA CFC-free refrigerants which provide efficient cooling while supporting environment preservation. The advanced digital displays of the Sorvall RC 3C Plus centrifuge include a speed/RCF display and speed selector, a time/w2dt display and selector, advisory messages, and diagnostic indicators. Ten different operational status conditions and 12 different coded system malfunction conditions are recognized by the system.
