Heat Treated Braided Fiberglass Sleeving is braided from high quality type E fiberglass that will not burn and will withstand continuous exposure to temperatures of 1200°F / 648°C. This high temperature sleeve provides protection for wires, cables, hoses, piping and tubing. Provides thermal insulation and personnel protection. This fiberglass sleeve is heat treated, which removes impurities and organics from the sleeve and also allowing it to operate at the top end of its temperature range without shrinkage or burn-off. This fiberglass sleeve is made from filament fiberglass fibers, and is not texturized, resulting in a sleeve that is extremely smooth and clean of loose fibers. Heat Treated Braided Fiberglass Sleeving Applications: This heat treated fiberglass sleeving is often used where air gap electrical insulation is sufficient May be used as an easy and affordable alternative to heat shrink tubing Protects wire and cable components used in challenging or hazardous environments High temperature applications Fits over wire and cable without heat-shrinking
