Hose Protector Silicone Fiberglass Fire Sleeve BSTFLEX Hose Protector Silicone Fiberglass Fire Sleeve is made by braided glass fibre sleeve coated with heavy silicone rubber. The certificated fire sleeve is non-flammable and is self-extinguishing. BST-EFRS Hose Protector Silicone Fiberglass Fire Sleeve made of braided fiberglass yarns in a flexible substrate, then coated with a high grade silicone rubber. It is a self-extinguishing thermal protection sleeve. Silicone rubber on our fire sleeve sheds molten metals, slag, welding splatter, electrical or grinding sparks and contamination. Firesleeve protects continuously to 500°F (260°C) and will withstand a molten splash at 2200°F (1200°C). It offers excellent short term flame protection and great insulation properties for high température. Applications Can be easily installed over hoses, cables, tubing or pipes. It offers excellent résistance to molten métal splash, radiant heat, abrasion, corrosive atmosphère, moisture, Chemicals, vibration, and electricity. In addition to protecting hoses, cables, pipes, etc., Fire Sleeve can protect operators from incurring scorching burn injuries on hot braided hoses and pipes. Fire Sleeve’s excellent moisture résistance makes it idéal for outdoor applications and heat résistance. It’s mainly used in steelworks, glass and ceramic industry, in railway and some other fields, protect cables, wires and hoses with very high température.
