Checktemp 1 is a high accuracy thermometer with a stainless steel probe on a 1m flexible cable. This penetration probe is perfect for fast response in liquids, air, frozen and semisolid materials. It utilises a high-tech NTC thermistor sensor to measure the temperature. Thermistors make it possible to obtain extremely high accuracy in a very short period of time.
A calibration test device has been incorporated into the meter. Activate the «test» switch and this device will simulate a 0.0 deg. C signal that has to be read on the LCD within a range of ±0.3 deg. C. This assures the user that the reading is reliable and accurate, every time.
The sharp-tip probe easily penetrates semisolid products such as fruits, vegetables and cheese. Routine controls are fast and simple for both incoming and outgoing goods. Constructed of AISI 316 stainless steel material, this probe is in compliance with food regulations.
