Also called TCRBV5S2 Vβ5 is a multimembered subfamily of the T cell receptor. Vβ5.2 is expressed by 0.5% to 1.5% (mean 0.8%) of peripheral CD3+ cells in normal blood. This sequence is also referred to as TRBV5-6 (based on the IMGT gene nomenclature).
