Also called TCRBV1S1 and S2 Vβ1 is the human variable β1 chain of the T cell receptor. It is expressed by appoximately 6% of peripheral CD3+ cells in normal blood. This sequence is also referred to as TRBV9 (based on the IMGT gene nomenclature).
