The F-SM1500-4.2/80 Single-Mode Fiber is an all-glass highly bend insensitive and photosensitive fiber for coiled and embedded sensor arrays with reduced cladding and supports single-mode light propagation for a 1550 — 1650 nm operating wavelength range. This low attenuation, step-index fiber has a uniform core refractive index and a matched-clad profile. It has a 0.29 to 0.31 NA, a 4.2 &mu,m Mode Field Diameter, a 80 &mu,m Cladding Diameter and a 170 &mu,m Coating Diameter. Typical applications include sensors, instrumentation, device pigtailing, and light delivery. This bare fiber does not include a protective fiber jacket. Standard pricing is per meter.
