The Mitutoyo screw thread micrometer uses optional V-anvil and conical spindle inserts interchangeably to precisely measure pitch diameters of metric or unified screw threads. A ratchet-stop mechanism provides uniform pressure on a workpiece for precise, repeatable measurements.
