Soft starter Sirius up to 250 kW (at 400 V) is designed for soft start/stop of 3-phase asynchronous engines. It prevents inrush current and torque, which are caused by the use of star-delta starters. The built-in bypass contact system reduces energy losses during operation, preventing component overheating.
A four-step rotary switch allows adjustment of the overload trip time. The controllable amperage limit provides protection against unexpected current increase. Three LEDs indicate possible errors, ineffective trip times, no load, and overheating. Typical applications include construction machines, presses, conveyors, chillers, centrifuges, and mixers.
