Hydrophobic PVDF membranes are suitable for use with a wide range of applications from filtering of biological samples to clarify mild organic HPLC solutions. Provides fast flow rates and is generally compatible with most common solvents. Exhibits very low protein binding, make it ideal for protein recovery applications. Offers low extractables and broad chemical compatibility. It have very similar application with hydrophobic PTFE, also used with aggressive solvents, strong acids, alcohols, bases and aromatics. Syringe filters are used for small volume filtration of liquids, gas and other material-specific applications. They are made of extractable free virgin polypropylene housings with female luer lock and male luer slip fittings.
