This product is designed for all devices compatible with the Modbus standard, featuring a Transparent Ready concept. It operates with a 24 V DC supply voltage and supports web services, including access to connected products lists and reading Modbus device registers via predefined web pages for Ethernet and Modbus link diagnostics.
Communication services include BOOTP protocol, FDR client, a miniature firewall with IP address filtering and password protection, the ability to read/write Modbus registers of connected devices, and an SNMP agent for device administration. The supply is provided via PoE IEEE 802.3af. Integrated connection types include a serial link RJ45 RS232 at 38.4 kbps, serial links via micro switches (Modbus RTU/ASCII RS485 at 57.6 kbps), a 5-way removable terminal block (Modbus RTU/ASCII RS485 at 57.6 kbps), and Ethernet TCP/IP RJ45 (10/100 Mbps, 1 twisted pair).
It supports up to 32 Modbus serial link devices and has Ethernet ports operating at 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX. The device mounts on a symmetrical DIN rail and is CE marked. Local signaling includes 4 LEDs for Ethernet communication (LK, RX, TX, 100) and 3 LEDs for serial link communication (RS485, RX, TX).
