This reader also makes use of a unique temperature-independent methodology for path length correction. Running both standard spectrophotometer and microplate reader applications at the same time is possible with the SpectraMax Plus 384. This benchmark for UV-visible microplate readers is capable of processing up to 384 samples in a single plate. A standard cuvette, 12 x 75 test tube as well as a 96- or 384-well microplate can be used in analyzing samples. Operators can also increase sample throughput by integrating this system into a full robotic mechanism that easily adjusts to fit sample handling requirements.
