The Omega RH5100C humidity/temperature indicator is a high accuracy instrument, featuring a built-in psychrometer for true humidity and dewpoint readings. A powerful fan draws air across two precision matched high stability temperature sensors, one of these measures dry air temperature (dry bulb), the other, which is fitted with a moistened wick, measures the temperature affected by evaporation (wet bulb). The integral microprocessor then processes the two temperatures to give direct, precise reading of humidity and dewpoint.
Because of the psychrometer sensing methods, the RH5100C doesn»t need the constant calibration checks that other solid state sensors require. The RH5100C will yield consistently high accuracy results in temperature, humidity and dewpoint measurement.
