This instrument is a fully equipped high-resolution (60,000) sector instrument with a mass range of 4500 daltons at full acceleration voltage and positive and negative ion detection. Ionization methods include: EI, CI, static and dynamic liquid secondary ion mass spectrometry (LSIMS/FAB), field desorption (FD) and field ionization (FI). Sample introduction is by direct probe and gas chromatography.
