Description
Students use a spectrophotometer to study aspects of enzyme kinetics. They determine the reaction rate of Invertase when subjected to varied substrate concentrations, competitive and non-competitive inhibitors, changes in pH and changes in temperature.
- Reducing sugars are measured with chemical DNS which creates distinctive color change
