Product Description Essentials control system Energy saver motor/blower TruLaminar Airflow HEPEX Zero Leak Airflow System The NuAire AireGard Energy Saver NU-201 Table Top Horizontal Airflow Workstation is designed for work areas that need clean air. Built with an energy-saving motor/blower, the AireGard ES NU-201 provides HEPA-filtered clean air environment for life science research, pharmacy, animal/plant procedures, and electronic testing. Models available from GMI are the NU-201-430 with a 4-ft. cabinet and the NU-201-630 with a 6-ft. cabinet. Designed for smooth operation, the NU-201 workstation features an essentials control system. This includes simple switches that control the blower, lights, and outlets, as well as a Minihelic gauge that measures plenum performance. Ergonomics is also employed in the AireGard NU-201 systems with the radius front work surface, removable front grill for easy cleaning, and a 1/2 radius lip located on back of work surface. Another advantage of the NU workstation is the TruLaminar Airflow a Nuaire technology that provides unidirectional airflow moving along parallel flow lines at a constant velocity of 60 fpm (0.30 m/s). This minimizes air turbulence within the work zone lessening the chance for cross contamination. The HEPEX Zero Leak Airflow System is part of the NuAire AireGard ES NU-201 workstation. The HEPEX plenum inflates to provide quiet uniform air without transferring vibration. Positive pressure chambers and ducts are surrounded by negative pressure to eliminate potential leaks and ensure a clean working environment. Other features include germicidal UV light, base support stands, fluorescent lighting, and IV bar with six hooks, as well as the stainless steel work area and sidewalls.
