The M-36S Metric Tilt and Rotation Platform has a -4.3 to +7° elevation tilt adjustment and a ±2.5° rotation adjustment via 2 AJS Adjustment Screws that rotates the mounting platform about the kinematic pivot point, ideal for use as a pointer. It is kinematic, with hardened and polished steel ball pivots and spring-preloaded spherical-tipped adjustments acting on hardened steel seats. With components mounted on the same face as the micrometers, the rotation provides an azimuth adjustment. Components mounted on the opposite side are rotated in-plane.
