The F-PM630 Polarization Maintaining Fiber offers low attenuation and excellent birefringence for high performance applications. This Corning PANDA PM fiber has a 630 nm operating wavelength with beat lengths ranging from less than 1.7mm to 5mm. It has a step index profile with a 125 &mu,m cladding, 400 &mu,m dual acrylate coating, a 4.5 &mu,m Mode Field Diameter and 0.10 to 0.13 NA. Also available are standard FC/APC PM patch cords, whose slow axis is accurately aligned to the connector key. In addition Newport provides custom patch cords with any available termination type at either end.
