The F-SBC bend insensitive, single mode sensor grade fiber is for 1310/1550 nm wavelength range and features a high NA of 0.16. It is suitable for tightly wound fiber spools for a variety of sensing applications. At 1310 nm, for example, the maximum bend induced attenuation, due to 100 fiber turns on a 10 mm mandrel, is only 0.05 dB! 125 um cladding diameter with a 6.3 &mu,m Mode Field Diameter, this fiber is commonly used in fiber optic gyroscope assemblies or in optical fiber payout systems.
