The sensor head has additional optics that optimally adapt the laser beam to large measuring lengths. Large coordinate measuring machines and machine tools, long linear axes and calibration distances represent the main applications of this precision linear encoder. During the measuring process, the temperature distribution in the room or at the measuring location plays a decisive role with regard to the correctness of the measuring result. For this reason, we recommend combining the interferometer with our LCS precision climatic measuring station for high-precision applications. Attention!
