These P1000 pre-sterile tips are created for use with the Biomek NX, NXp, FX and FXp automation systems with Span-8 pods. They»re clear and non-conductive so you can more easily assess aspirated sample volumes, with visual confirmation and added confidence during method development. Sample preparation times can be reduced by transferring a full 1 mL of reagent in a single pipetting action without splitting volumes. Applications include: library construction for next generation sequencing sample prep with a viscous bead mixture, stem cell research to reduce the inadvertent cell lysis of large cell-aggregates of embryoid bodies, nucleic acid preparation to minimize DNA shearing, cellular applications where pipetting of viscous solutions, such as glycerol solution, is commonly used, bio-fuels/bio-energy research where cellulose slurries may clog standard tips, and crop research/seed development where samples may contain large particulates. Tips are made to the highest standards and guaranteed to be free of DNA, DNase/RNase, PCR inhibition, pyrogen/endotoxin and trace metals. Case of 5 racks.
