General information
This kit allows the weighing, measuring, registering and feeding of 50 malnourished children for 3 months.
It is designed to equip an inpatient therapeutic feeding unit for severely malnourished children.
This kit should be used by trained staff only, able to recognise the main health problems associated with severe malnutrition (diarrhoea, dehydration, infection, severe anaemia, shock, etc.) and respond to these conditions.

The kit includes a glucometer and a haemoglobinometer, but no oxymeter or oxygen concentrator. In case these items are not present in the inpatient ward, they have to be ordered separately, along with the power supply equipment necessary for the oxygen concentrator.
