General information
The kit allows the weighing, measuring, registering and feeding of 500 malnourished children for 3 months.
It is designed to equip 5 ambulatory therapeutic feeding sites (ATFC) for severely malnourished children. If more than 5 sites are to be covered, supplementary anthropometric equipment should be ordered separately (KMEDKNUTANT).
This kit should be used by trained staff only, able to recognise the main health problems associated with severe malnutrition (diarrhoea, dehydration, infection, severe anaemia, shock, etc.) and respond to these conditions or refer cases accordingly.
