SPHEROTM Allophycocyanin Calibration Particles are designed for routine calibration of flow cytometers. By using these particles, the sensitivity and linearity of the system can be determined. The sensitivity of the instrument will help detect any dye or light contamination. The linearity of the instrument will determine if the logarithmic amps and PMTs are functioning properly.
Features:
- Contain a mixture of fluorescent particles with different intensities in the Allophycocyanin channel
- Excited with either He-Ne laser at 632 nm or a diode laser at 635nm
- Used to determine the linearity of the logarithmic amps and sensitivity of flow cytometers in Allophycocyanin channel.
For use in allophycocyanin channel: Supplied in two dropper bottles, 3.0-3.4μm, 2 x 5ml. One contains blank particles, the other a mixture of same-size particles, but different fluorescence intensity.
