Biomek Refilling Reservoir ALP (Automated Labware Positioner) kit includes pump, tubing, reservoir and fittings. The pump is contained in the communication box, which connects to the Biomek CAN (Controller Area Network) bus. The pump is controlled by the Biomek Software, and users can fill and drain the reservoir. When in use, the reservoir will fill when the liquid volume trips the sensor in the reservoir. This unit keeps the liquid from being exposed when it»s not needed. Excess liquid can be drained back into the source container for future use or easy cleanup.
