The 77250B-FH is a fully assembled, pre-aligned, Hand Operated Monochromator. The monochromator is based on an Ebert-Fastie design, placing the grating out of the path of the entrance and exit slits to eliminate re-entrant spectra. The hand operated design allows for output wavelength adjustment as accurate as 1 nm via a four digit counter display, with 0.1nm adjustment resolution based on horizontal markings on the counter. The fixed slit assemblies are ideal for general laboratory or academic use, in which a high accuracy and repeatability (especially at high resolution) are desirable. They also provide a cheaper solution than the micrometer adjustable slit version of this monochromator, the 77250B-MC, when only a few slit widths are required. Two slit holders 77294 are pre-installed at the input and output ports. Fixed slits ranging from 50 µm to 6.32 mm in width are sold separately and interchangeable, depending on the output resolution desired. The 77250B-FH monochromator base model doesnt include a grating yet. We offer a variety of 77250B diffraction gratings, which are sold separately, covering a wavelength range from 200 nm to 23 µm. They can be easily installed and interchanged, depending on the needs of your application. An optional 77387 mounting kit can be purchased separately to mount the monochromator in a setup with an easily adjustable optical axis height to match that of a source and/or detector.
